This can give the TV a more sleek and stylish appearance, and it may be a good choice for those who want a TV that will blend in seamlessly with their home decor.

The LG C1 has a more traditional design, with a thicker bezel and a fixed stand. The LG C2 also has a more powerful processor, which can make it more responsive and faster at switching between apps and content.
Alongside this, LG C2 uses webOS 22, which is slightly more refined compared to LG C1’s webOS 6.0. The features of webOS 22 include improved personalization, ‘Always Ready’ mode, and far-field microphones that let you issue voice commands even when the TV is not turned on.
Ultimately, the LG C1 is starting to become outdated, especially when you compare it to today’s competition.
Having said that, we still get asked whether or not the LG C1 is still worth it – even though it’s been superseded by two additional generations.
The answer, in short, is still yes. The LG C1 might be an aging OLED TV – however, thanks to its OLED panel and newly reduced price tag, it still depicts a value-for-money display.
One of the big issues with OLED panel technology is the brightness levels it produces. On average, OLED TVs are considerably less bright when compared to LED and mini-LED alternatives.
Having said that, LG did work hard in designing its new Evo OLED panel which is said to be far brighter than the C1 – a factor that led many people to upgrade.
Unfortunately, not all C2 models feature the Evo OLED panel technology – with the smaller variants featuring the same panel as the C1.
In terms of smart TV features, the LG C2 and C1 are both equipped with many built-in streaming apps, such as Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime Video, which can provide access to a wide variety of movies, TV shows, and other content. Both TVs also have voice control, which allows you to use your voice to search for content, change the channel, and perform other tasks.
Overall, the LG C2 and C1 are both high-quality TVs with through-the-roof positive reviews. The LG C2 is positioned to be the better of the two, due to its high-performance processor and more modern design, but both TVs have excellent picture quality and a range of smart TV features. LG C1 is also somewhat cheaper, but LG C2 makes up for that in technology, notably the ‘Evo’ panel, and new add-ons and features.
One of the big improvements that LG made with the C2 was the arrival of the EVO OLED panel – a feature that was historically reserved for the more premium G2 model.
The EVO OLED in the C2 offered up a brighter visual experience that made it more enjoyable when viewing daylight conditions.
Now that the LG C2 has been available for close to a year, we’re bound to see more further price drops moving forward. Since we know that the LG C3 is on the horizon as well, expect the LG C2 to be as affordable as ever. We’ve seen great deals and discounts on the LG C2 in the past few months, so we can definitely label it as a more affordable option, especially once the C3 becomes available.
